Paige enjoyed quite the WWE career in a short span of time. Aged just 19 when she arrived in NXT (and with her story being the subject of the movie Fighting With My Family), she managed to pack a great amount into a few years, before a neck injury sadly forced her to retire at the age of just 25. But this DVD is a nice reminder of what Paige was all about in the ring, and it features some of her biggest career moments.

It begins with her battling Emma to crown the first NXT Women’s Champion. Bear in mind that this was pre-TakeOver, pre-Four Horsewomen, and generally at a time when women’s wrestling was still largely considered an unwanted distraction by diehard fans. This bout was a crucial step forward, as it opened fans’ eyes up to the fact that the females could put on just as good a match as the men, when given the opportunity. Her next major moment was debuting on Raw and shockingly ending AJ Lee’s Divas Championship reign, a short yet memorable moment included here.

The next bout on the DVD is from SummerSlam 2014 when Paige and AJ clashed at SummerSlam 2014, in what was one of the better bouts of the PPV. Next, the two “fren-emies” team up to face The Bella Twins at WrestleMania 31, Paige’s first Mania match. Finally, we get Paige vs. Sasha Banks from Raw in December 2017, shortly after Paige returned from a long lay-off, but unfortunately just a few weeks before she suffered the injury that forced her to retire.

This is a strong round-up of Paige’s key moments. Besides the obvious exception of the short Paige-AJ Raw bout, three of these matches are very good, with one in particular being a milestone for the company’s women’s division. Any fans of Paige should pick up this Iconic Matches DVD, and given that it is fairly short, it includes most of her biggest matches.

Overall Rating: 8/10 – Very Good
