Adama Traore – Wolverhampton Wanderers – £30m
This is a name that has become synonymous with Liverpool FC and recent transfer windows. This link will wet the lips of many fans but some will be rolling their eyes. Jurgen Klopp has been widely reported as a long-term admirer of the Portuguese winger, who according to the Liverpool Echo is declining to sign a new contract with the West Midlands club and could be sold for as little as £30m.
If this transfer can be pulled off, then the quick winger would make for an ideal long-term successor to one of our front three. Not to mention the reuniting with his former teammate Diogo Jota would make for a seamless transition into Liverpool’s new-look attack. I mean, If the same name keeps popping up, surely it is only a matter of ‘when’ not ‘if’, right?

Donyell Malen – PSV > Borussia Dortmund – £25m
This transfer is something of a mixed bag and maybe a hard pill to swallow but it is recent transfer news that can be put to bed. Now former PSV forward Donyell Malen had been on Liverpool’s watch list this summer, however, he has since signed for Borussia Dortmund on a five-year deal.
The Dutch forward would have been a new addition to Liverpool FC’s attacking options as Liverpool look to refresh their squad. It is claimed by the Express and a number of other reputable sources that the failure to offload Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi to free up funds effectively scuppered this transfer from happening.

Saul Niguez – Atletico Madrid – £40m- £50m
As we have discussed previously, Liverpool FC has been chasing down Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez to bolster their midfield choices ahead of next season. The departure of Georginio Wijnaldum and question marks looming over the futures of Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have forced Jurgen Klopp to consider different options moving forward.
After Liverpool FC’s opening bid of roughly £35m was rejected, it is reported by the Liverpool Echo that Niguez is due to fly to England on Monday to discuss potential moves with either Liverpool FC or Manchester United FC. At the time of writing, there is no update beyond this point but this could quickly change.
Departures
According to Sky Sports Jordan Henderson has yet to sign a new contract with the club but they will not entertain offers for him this summer. Elsewhere, Sevilla, Villarreal, Lazio and Napoli are interested in acquiring the services of Xherdan Shaqiri.
