Everyone has wanted to run their own cinema at some point in their lives, for me it’s whenever I fancy watching Jaws. As if I had a cinema I could put it on the big screens, turn of the lights, and ramp that sound all the way up! Movie Cinema Simulator aims to do just that, give the players their own cinema to run how they like. With full control from customizing the appeal of the cinema, the movie showings, and even the food and drink you serve. Without further ado let’s get into our Movie Cinema Simulator game review…

Story of Movie Cinema Simulator
Taking over your uncle’s cinema you find yourself filled with endless ideas. Until you arrive and see the current state of it. With your mentor guiding you through the clean up you soon have it ready for opening. Things will be hard at the start of the game as you need to do everything yourself until you progress through the main quests enough to unlock employees. This means you can be a bit overwhelmed with having to clean the screens and toilets, repair everything, do concessions, sell tickets, and fend off people trying to extort you for protection. Can you fight through the struggles of starting and go on to create a successful cinema?
Analysis of Movie Cinema Simulator
Gameplay
As mentioned before, gameplay mainly consists of running your cinema. From manning the tills, doing repairs, and the cleaning. Yet, that isn’t all you can do in the game. As you can explore the town, and other areas. Some NPCs even have side quests for you to complete. With some side quests necessary for certain upgrades, like acquiring better movies. The game is also split into two different time zones: work and sleep. With some quests requiring you to complete them in the required time zone.
Summary of Movie Cinema Simulator
The game does a good job at simulating life as a cinema owner. From the nitty gritty bits to the pleasures of the business Movie Cinema Simulator shows you all sides of the business, from the nitty gritty bits to the pleasures. It is a delight finding the parody version of one of your favourite films in the store and putting it on tomorrows schedule immediately. The scheduling of movies on screens does comes off as a simplified version of the mechanic from Empire TV Tycoon, but that’s not a bad thing. I do wish you unlocked employees quicker as it is a real pain doing the nitty gritty stuff after a while. Especially, when everything breaks all the time, and you have to whip out the spanner!
