Frank Matcham built St Helens Theatre Royal in the 19th Century. And it’s still the principal theatre in St Helens. Furthermore, the venue was recently renovated internally and externally with a modern glass exterior. It now has a large capacity and stages many performances covering comedy, music, drama, and pantomime.
