The Horror Show At Extreme Rules was WWE's most unusual PPV yet in 2020. However, as proven here, "unusual" isn't necessarily better.

WWE Money In The Bank 2020 has its moments, but the dual MITB segment and McIntyre vs. Rollins are the main reasons to rewatch this on DVD.

Judging all of this from an entertainment standpoint, WWE WrestleMania 36 on DVD has a lot to offer in spite of the weird circumstances.

WWE Royal Rumble 2020 is a great show overall, and one of the more appealing WWE supershows that you could purchase on DVD this year.

Though it has some worthwhile moments, WWE TLC 2019 features too much missable material to receive a full recommendation from us on DVD.

With the exception of WrestleMania 35, Survivor Series 2019 is the best PPV event of the year for WWE, making this an easy recommendation.

For the casual WWE fan, Crown Jewel 2019 is definitely the best of the four Saudi supershows so far that the company has staged.

WWE Hell In A Cell 2019 is not a show that you absolutely need to watch. It has one awesome Cell match, and one which is bizarre.

WWE Clash Of Champions 2019 is one of the more consistent PPV events that you will see, and it has some very exciting matches.

If you hoped that WWE 2K20 would be anything more than being just another game, then unfortunately you will not be impressed.

On the whole, then, WWE SummerSlam 2019 is an enjoyable event. It has an awesome main event, along with a landmark debut.

Extreme Rules 2017 has several matches of a high quality (and one match which is poorly booked, to be fair), whereas Money In The Bank 2017 has few notable moments from an in-ring standpoint, and generally feels second-rate.

WWE are now releasing solo-brand DVDs as part of a twin-disc set, which makes a lot of sense given that we now receive approximately two supershows per month, between the biggies like WrestleMania and SummerSlam.

Featuring not one but two Pay-Per-View events from the Road to WrestleMania, WWE Home Video presents over 6 hours of WWE action, Elimination Chamber 2017 and Fast Lane 2017 Double Feature!

Although fans have fond memories of Royal Rumble, the 2014 event was not warmly-received, with one match completely panned by the Pittsburgh crowd and the finish to the main Rumble bout widely criticised, particularly by the live audience. If nothing else, though, it makes for an intriguing DVD to watch!

Payback 2014 compensates for the lack of a World Title match, due to the injuries suffered by WWE Champion Daniel Bryan, with a memorable double main event and some gems further down the card.

Whilst it's by no means a five-star event, TLC is one of the better shows held on Pay-Per-View in 2014, and so this DVD is a decent way to close out an unforgettable year in the wacky world of WWE.

Despite the longer running time, it's probably the weakest entry so far, but it is still a very entertaining round-up of a memorable year for WWE nonetheless.
