Game Opinion: WWE 2K17 – First Thoughts

Initial thoughts on WWE 2K17

DVD Review: WWE WrestleMania 32

For the thirty-second time, WWE presented WrestleMania on April 3 2016 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and this would be the most attended WWE show of all-time with an announced attendance of 101,763.

DVD Review: The Best Of Raw & SmackDown 2015 – WWE

The bloated nature of Raw, the insignificance of SmackDown and the general apathy towards storylines and featured performers can blind one to the fact that there was a lot of really good content on both shows during 2015. This compilation acts as strong evidence.

DVD Review: SmackDown’s Most Memorable Matches – WWE

This isn't a true representation of the most memorable or even the best SmackDown matches of its first few years, but with some thrilling matches and a few surprising moments, this budget DVD is more than adequate. If you enjoyed WWE's product in the mid-2000s, this is a good DVD for you to own.

DVD Review: WWE SummerSlam 2015

Whilst SummerSlam 2015 was a fairly memorable show, the DVD release is something of a let-down. Unless you're an avid collector or a big fan of Undertaker or Lesnar, you may want to wait until this one is available at a discounted price.

DVD Review: WWE Hell In A Cell 2015

In the WWE Network era, it's harder to justify a full-price purchase of a DVD release for a Pay-Per-View, besides WrestleMania. But if you are still collecting supershow DVDs, the Cell matches provide a good enough reason to buy this. The remaining content isn't really worth owning, so get this for the two HIAC bouts.

DVD Review: Brock Lesnar: Here Comes The Pain! – Collector’s Edition...

Two extra discs of good or great matches should make this an outstanding DVD, some would argue, but there's 90-120 minutes of content which is either just okay (the documentary) or skippable (Lesnar's 2012 recorded comments), which really does bring this down a peg or two.

DVD Review: WWE WrestleMania 31

Overall, this is an extremely fun and enjoyable wrestling DVD set. With a great WrestleMania and a memorable Hall Of Fame event, you can't really go wrong. It may have been slightly overrated at the time, but this year's WrestleMania weekend proves to be a series of shows that you simply must have in your collection.

DVD Review: Ladies And Gentlemen, My Name Is Paul Heyman –...

If you don't own this, buy it today; it's one of the best overall packages that WWE has ever released, and it's not even on a wrestler. In fact, to achieve that may end up being Paul Heyman's greatest accomplishment.

DVD Review: The History Of The WWE Championship

The only snag in terms of buying this DVD is that you'll probably already own many of the matches featured here but, even if you do, I still highly recommend this DVD; to me, it is one of the top WWE DVDs ever.

DVD Review: Tombstone – The History Of The Undertaker – WWE

A modern-day look at Taker's career, including a proper documentary and a round-up of matches covering his entire career, from the pre-WWE days to the major bouts of the 1990s and his biker phase to the highlights of the Streak, would unquestionably be superior, but in the meantime fans should be satisfied.

DVD Review: WWE WrestleMania XIX

Whether you're watching this for Shawn's return to the grand stage, Hogan and Vince's roller coaster ride of a fight, Stone Cold's swan-song, Lesnar's brush with death or even Goldberg's debut on Raw, the DVD of WrestleMania XIX has something for everyone and is a must-own.

DVD Review: WWE WrestleMania XX

Overall, then, the WrestleMania event itself has plenty of engaging content but falls short of the greatest in the event's history and the hype which surrounded it beforehand.

DVD Review: Goldberg: The Ultimate Collection – WWE

This compilation certainly provides all the evidence one needs to understand why Goldberg became such a huge star in the late 1990s. The lack of a documentary is the biggest flaw; otherwise, it is as strong a DVD as could be expected on Da Man, GOLLLDBERRRG!

DVD Review: The Best Of Raw & SmackDown 2013 – WWE

This release does have a lot of flaws, largely in terms of absent content. So, whilst The Best Of Raw & SmackDown 2013 is worth watching, it is not be the extensive story of the year on WWE TV that fans will have expected.

DVD Review: WWE WrestleMania 29

If you focus solely on show quality, if you ignore the less-than-stellar crowd reactions towards the end of the card, and considering the historic Hall Of Fame 2013 ceremony, you have a very important, memorable and entertaining WrestleMania DVD set that all die-hard fans should own.

DVD Review: WWE WrestleMania XXX

WrestleMania XXX is an essential DVD for wrestling fans, for both historical and entertainment purposes. So, is it a must-own? Yes! Yes! Yes!
