DVD Review: WWE Hell In A Cell 2012

Hell In A Cell 2012 kept things simple with just the one Cell bout, a well-built collision between longtime WWE Champion CM Punk and the undefeated, Goldberg-like Ryback. That being said, it is another match which stands as the main reason to see this DVD.

DVD Review: WWE Survivor Series 2012

There's some good action for sure, but on the whole, Survivor Series 2012 is one that only die-hard fans and collectors will be interested in reliving. An entertaining show, but by no means WWE's best of the year.

DVD Review: WWE TLC 2012

TLC 2012 could end up being remembered as one of the most significant events of its kind in the years to come, as it featured a stunning debut for three men who could one day rule the roost, so to speak, in WWE. If that isn't a recommendation for the DVD of this show, I don't know what is.

DVD Review: WWE Extreme Rules 2013

The first PPV after WrestleMania is always a struggle to maintain the momentum of the year's biggest show. However, ER '13 does a nice job, making for a rather enjoyable wrestling DVD to watch.

DVD Review: WWE Payback 2013

Despite a familiar line-up and the feelings of relative staleness due to the end of WrestleMania Season, Payback 2013 is surprisingly a great show to watch, and therefore the DVD should provide you with plenty of entertainment.

DVD Review: WWE Battleground 2013

The first Battleground event has a decent line-up, but strangely misfires in several ways, making it feel like a glorified episode of Raw. Therefore, whilst not terrible, the DVD is a bit of a struggle to watch.

DVD Review: WWE Elimination Chamber 2015

It was tough to watch the card back on DVD, to be honest, because so much of the show feels like filler. This is worth owning to see Kevin Owens become a real star with great assistance from John Cena, but otherwise it's probably not worth you splashing out on this DVD.

DVD Review: WWE Live In The UK: November 2014

This is worth owning for the Ziggler/Cesaro/Kidd match alone. That is the best match held on any of the UK tapings in recent years, probably since the John Cena-Shawn Michaels clinic from 2007. The rest of the content is less vital, but as an overall package, it's still a pretty decent set to have.

DVD Review: WWE Live In The UK: November 2013

There's enough quality material to keep you entertained, even if these shows are inferior on the whole to those held in London a few months beforehand.

DVD Review: WWE Live In The UK: November 2012

Things would improve for the better a few weeks later with the arrival of a certain faction known as The Shield. They would play a key role in the next round of UK tapings, which I will document in the April 2013 review.
