Judging all of this from an entertainment standpoint, WWE WrestleMania 36 on DVD has a lot to offer in spite of the weird circumstances.

Upon future viewings with fans back in the arenas, WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 may not necessarily hold up so well. But for now, it's fun.

Looking back, the two Rumble matches and the Handicap match are the main reasons to see this again, though it's Ronda Rousey's show-closing appearance that will stand as the reason to most remember Royal Rumble 2018. Either way, the show was a big success, and you'll have a lot of fun reliving it on DVD.

As annoying as WWE's repeated statements of it being "A New Era" were and are, there's no doubt that the WWE product has improved since WrestleMania 32. The first post-Mania PPV event, Payback 2016, is a fine example with several really good matches, all of which make for a very enjoyable wrestling DVD.

If you're a collector, then you should buy Battleground 2016 on DVD. It boasts an excellent match, a strong main event, several decent bouts elsewhere on the card and some memorable appearances/returns, without spoiling the identity of those who make a cameo.

The long-anticipated match between all three members of The Shield was just as explosive as the WWE Universe imagined. And with the winner taking WWE’s most prestigious championship to either Raw or SmackDown, the result of match goes on to the shape the future landscape of WWE.

This is worth owning for the Ziggler/Cesaro/Kidd match alone. That is the best match held on any of the UK tapings in recent years, probably since the John Cena-Shawn Michaels clinic from 2007. The rest of the content is less vital, but as an overall package, it's still a pretty decent set to have.

NXT Greatest Matches Vol. 1 is the perfect introduction to the brand that is changing the face of WWE and wrestling as a whole.
