OMD are back with a brand new tour. This covers songs from their legendary Architecture & Morality album. Not to mention plenty of hits from their iconic back catalogue. Regarding the tour, OMD’s Andy McCluskey says: “After purgatory without the oxygen of live performance to energise artist and audience. Now, what joy it is to know we will be able to share these moments again!” So, the show will raise money and awareness for their crew in the aftermath of the global Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, ticket buyers can watch a stream of the show for 48 hours. And this provides VIP access with the best seats in the house for the November tour. So, strap in and prepare to experience nothing but the best. And all from a band who remain at the absolute top of their game.

OMD have a strong legacy within the music industry. Originally together between 1978 and 1996, the band would reform in 2006. Though the members may change over time, their collective passion and talent for delivering classic musical tunes remains first-class. Amongst their greatest hits are Souvenir, Maid Of Orleans, Joan Of Arc, Sailing On The Seven seas and Pandora’s Box. Furthermore, there are plenty of more recent tracks which fans can hear during this live show. So, the current members are Andy McCluskey, Paul Humphreys, Martin Cooper and Stuart Kershaw.

Liverpool’s Empire Theatre is a true mainstay of the city, ever since the venue’s initial opening in 1866. But a demolition of the original Empire would lead to the modern Empire opening in 1924. From there, the Empire would become a focal point for the UK’s top touring theatre shows. Indeed, so many iconic productions regularly come to Liverpool’s Empire Theatre. Furthermore, the list of performers to grace the Empire stage over the years reads like a who’s who. In addition, the Empire’s location is pivotal, with its positioning directly in front of Lime Street Station. The Empire has a total capacity of 2,381, with frequent sell-outs throughout the annual theatre calendar. Simply put, the Empire Theatre is amongst the UK’s top entertainment venues and an ideal backdrop for a classic night of theatre.

The tour begins at Indigo At The O2 Arena in London on June 19 2021. Then, OMD visits Leeds, Kildare, Southampton, Shrewsbury, Sunderland, Wirral, Chelmsford, Aylesbury, Newport, Birkenhead, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Gateshead, Hull, Cambridge and Leicester. Furthermore, the band tours Cardiff, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Brighton, Oxford and Manchester. At that point, OMD comes to Liverpool’s Empire Theatre on November 21 2021. From, there, OMD continues their tour across Europe, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
