This is our review of Snow White And The Seven Dwarves at St Helens Theatre Royal!
Synopsis Of Snow White And The Seven Dwarves
The St Helens Theatre Royal and Regal Entertainment presents Snow White and the Seven Dwarves this Christmas, with a celebrity twist! The voices of all seven dwarves are celebrities, who are gratefully donating their fees to local charities. That’s another stellar reason to support this pantomime! Princess Snow White meets Prince Fredrick on the eve of her 18th birthday. But the Wicked Queen aims to put an end to the Princess before they can marry. Will true love and friendship overcome the forces of evil?
Starring Maureen Nolan as the Wicked Queen, Emrhys Cooper as Prince Fredrick, Chantelle Morgan as Snow White, Lewis Devine as Muddles, Richard Aucott as Nurse Nelly, and Leanne Campbell as the Magic Mirror. The voices for the dwarves are Johnny Vegas, Craig Phillips, John May, Queen of Scotty Road, Joel Ross, Pete Price, and Louis Emerick.
Analysis Of Snow White And The Seven Dwarves
Regal Entertainment and St Helens Theatre Royal smash it out of the park again with another family favourite Christmas pantomime. The dance numbers and staging were a feast for the eyes and had both children and adults captivated from start to finish. The crowd loved the return of the “five toilet rolls” segment. Indeed, the audience was bursting with laughter at press night. And of course, I can’t mention laughter without highlighting comedy local hero, Lewis Devine. It’s always a pleasure to see Lewis shine on stage, and this production was no different. It wouldn’t be panto season without him.
The role of Snow White saw the debut of Chantelle Morgan, who wholly embraced the role. Chantelle looks at home on stage and performed beautifully with a magical voice. So, I look forward to seeing where her stage career goes in the years to come.
